From 14 News www.14news.com: Crews have begun milling and overlay work on First Avenue from Colorado to Mill Road, causing some traffic delays.
Orange cones are up, traffic is down to one lane in certain sections of the busy north side thoroughfare and old, worn pavement is being replaced.
According to the City of Evansville, it's part of a three-tiered project, set to be completed over the next month or so. Ray Becker Parkway and Broadway will also be affected in June. J.H. Rudolph is the contractor for the project.
