HENDERSON – A truly new and exciting summer camp experience is coming to John James Audubon State Park July 30th – August 3rd. Youth between the ages of 7 – 17 will use our picturesque trails through the woods to hunt down clues and solve a mock murder! Kentucky State Police will be there on Monday, July 30th finger printing the kids in the camp. Police urge parents to have a record of your child’s fingerprints and other vital information on file in case of emergency.
There will be plenty of interesting material to use for a news story such as , “How have shows like CSI or NCIS Gotten Even Kids Excited About Forensics?” Maybe your story can be on just the unique nature of the camp itself. Or, yes, even kids learning forensics and how to deal with the heat!
We would love to see your outlet there at any point during the week. If you’re interested, please contact Michael Gipson, Assistant Naturalist, at OFFICE: (270) 826 – 4424 CELL: (270) 952 – 8635. We look forward to seeing you!
