Man Arrested & Charged with 16 Counts of Child Molesting; A Conversation about the Sandusky Case Inspires Victim to Come Forward
CALVIN "DON" WELLS
Evansville Police have arrested 46 year old CALVIN “DON” WELLS on multiple counts of Child Molesting after the victim came forward about the crimes that began in 1997.
The victim told investigators at Holly’s House that the sexual abuse began when she was 13 years old.
The victim came forward after speaking with WELLS about the Sandusky sex abuse case at Penn State. During those conversations, WELLS told the victim he was different than Sandusky because he loved her. The victim provided audio recordings of the conversation to police.
WELLS was arrested and charged with 16 counts of Child Molesting.
