Updated/Corrected 06/13/2012: INDOT is announcing that it will be closing Oak Grove Road west of State Road 261 (S.R. 261) in Newburgh. Beginning Monday, June 18th, crews will close Oak Grove Road from the junction of S.R. 261 to Coal Mine Road. All work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time, and it is scheduled to re-open to traffic in mid-July, weather permitting. Crews will close Oak Grove Road to reconstruct the intersection of S.R. 261 and Coal Mine Road. No through vehicle traffic will be allowed, however local residents will have access to the point of closure.
