Jeremy Tighe (February 22, 2012) died when the fire truck he was riding captain seat went off the side of Saint Joseph Avenue into the ditch. For those that are familiar with this roadway, Saint Joseph Avenue has no room for error to motorist.
With the white line being the beginning of the ditch that is at least 5 + ft deep, numerous accidents and fatalities have occurred on this road.
Please sign this petition so that maybe the city of Evansville/ County Garage will fix this dangerous roadway so that our citizens and emergency responders can travel a roadway that isn't so dangerous!
March 13th at 5:30 PM in room 301 is the next commissioner meeting. Let's make all of our voices heard ! Jeremy made a difference now let's make a difference for Jeremy!
We ask that you sign this petition if you haven't already signed one of the books that are floating around. Let's make Saint Joseph Avenue safer not only for bigger trucks but for the every day motorist that travels this dangerous roadway.
