Reporters is a volunteer for second listed victim, Mater Dei High School. Mater Dei leases a baseball field from first listed victim, the City of Evansville Parks Dept, on the property of Howell Park. Yesterday evening, Mater Dei played a baseball game against Reitz HS on the field The described suspect (offender) was present and reportedly bragged to some girls in the stand that he was going to steal the cash box from the concession stand. The game ended and the employee/volunteers for the concession stand left at approx 21:00 hours. This morning, reporter came by the concession stand and found the window on the northwest side of the stand building was standing open. He called police. When I, Cpl E Keller, arrived, reporter and I entered the door to the concession stand and found that numerous items had been moved around and some food, mostly chocolate candy, had been stolen (No cash box had been left in the concession stand). An empty, slick cardboard box of candy was outside the concession stand and appears to have been dropped or thrown down by the person(s) who had removed it from the concession stand.
