I was dispatched to a fight outside Gloria's Corral Club. Upon arrival I saw a large crowd outside. A Gloria's employee pointed me towards a vehicle and told me that he observed a subject inside the vehicle with a handgun. Deputy Baehl and I stopped the vehicle and saw a gun in plain view in the back seat. The back seat passenger was on parole, a convicted domestic batterer, and did not have a permit for the gun. The gun was entered into evidence and the suspect arrested.

Dispatched to 1300 W Franklin St in reference a commercial burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers located an intoxicated male inside the business. Male made entry into the building by breaking a glass door. Transported to confinement center.

Officers T. Mattingly, T. Bond and I, C. Pierce were dispatched to the 1100 block of Adams Ave in reference to shots fired. Dispatched stated they received multiple calls on shots being fired. We arrived shortly after being dispatched. There were several people out in the neighborhood. Several black males were sitting on the porch of .... Adams Ave. They said they saw two black males on bicycles, dressed in all black, ride by and shortly after they heard shots fired. They were uncooperative and didn't want to give us any further information. Several other people were outside, but none could pin point where the shots were fired from. Officer Mattingly advised us he found bullet holes in a Dodge Journey SUV parked in front of .... Adams Ave. We drove to the residence and saw several shell casings lying in the middle of the roadway on Adams Ave. We found eleven 9mm shells in total laying in the roadway. There were two bullet holes in the Dodge Journey. The Journey had Illinois license plates and came back to .... who was not on scene. One bullet hole was on the drive side front fender and another through the front windshield. There was a bullet hole just below the window where the victim's .. y/o daughter was sleeping and another by the front door. Three bullet holes were located in the side of the house at .... Adams. We spoke to the owners of the house. They advised us they moved their kids to the neighbor's house for safety concerns. ... was hysterical due to the fact her house was shot up. We spoke to both ... and they advised us they didn't have anyone upset with them. They didn't know who or why someone would have shot their house.
Showplace Cinema Morgan Center Drive - Victim of Burglary non-residential at 1801 Morgan Center Dr Evansville, IN between 04:00 06/10/2012 and 05:30 06/10/2012.
I was dispatched to 1801 Morgan Center Dr to Showplace Cinema on a burglary report. On scene I spoke to the reporter. She stated she was contacted by another employee. She was told that someone had broken into the office. I met the reporter inside the business. The business had been broken into and an unknown amount of money had been taken. The office door was kicked in to gain access inside. A exhaust fan, HVAC equipment, the office door and the safe had been damaged by the suspects. Crime scene was called to the scene.
