"I, Officer S.P. Smith, was working off duty at Gloria's Corral Club in uniform when I observed two female subjects fighting just outside the dance floor. I pulled the two females apart and a black male, later identified as Phillip Johnson, ran up to me and pushed me across the room screaming, 'Get off my sister!' He grabbed me and threw me into a table and several chairs causing me to fall to the ground. The back side of my left hand hit the corner of the table causing redness and swelling. I jammed my left wrist into the floor, causing pain when I fell to the ground. I quickly got up on my feet as Johnson charged me again. I closed distance with him as Johnson tried to him me with a right haymaker. I was able to step into the blow and it landed on my left side. Johnson is a very muscular individual and was able to easily throw my weight around. I attempted to place his right arm in an arm bar but Johnson was able to break it free by swinging his right arm away from me. I was able to use his momentum to spin Johnson around to where he had his back to me and I was able to place him in a lateral vascular neck restraint. Johnson became dazed and I was able to direct him to the ground and place him into handcuffs. I was then able to call for more cars to assist. He continued to struggle to get his hands free even after he was placed into handcuffs. Johnson's breath had the odor of alcoholic beverage, he was slurring his speech and his eyes were bloodshot. Johnson was taken into custody, transported by the wagon and booked at VCCC. Crime scene photographed the injury to my hand."

"I was dispatched to St Mary's Hospital in reference to a battery report. On scene I met with the victim, later identified as C. Chaplin. Chaplin was noted for two straight cuts to his right shoulder and right upper back. Chaplin stated he met a girl, the suspect, known only to him as 'Fahshara' at Cecil's. Chaplin stated he 'has been knowing Fahshara' for a while but did not know her last name. Chaplin stated he was taking 'Fahshara' and his friend's girlfriend, later identified as S. Shamell to their homes for the night. While taking them home, Fahshara became upset that Chaplin was taking her home first and not Shamell. Fahshara became irate and refused to tell Chaplin where she lived. Chaplin stated he pulled over and told Fahshara to get out of the car. Chaplin could not remember where he pulled the car over at. Chaplin continued that Fahshara got out of the van and leaned in to get her purse. Chaplin stated as she did, Fahshara began hitting him and he soon realized he had been cut. Chaplin stated Fahshara took off in an unknown direction and he went to St Mary's to get treated for his injuries. Shamell was in the waiting room. I spoke to here and she stated she, Fahshara and Chaplin had been at Cecil's before going back to her boyfriend's house. Shamell continued that Chaplin was taking her and Fahshara home when Fahshara began 'freaking the fuck out' about Chaplin not taking Shamell home first. Shamell stated Chaplin pulled over at Washington and St James and told Fahshara to get out of the van. Shamell stated when Fahshara leaned back into the van to get her purse, Fahshara pulled a red box cutter from the purse and began cutting Chaplin. Shamell stated Fahashar then ran from the scene and Chaplin drove to the hospital. Shamell described Fahshara as a black female about 505 to 507, with a red, curly wig."
