Society - Victim of Damage to Police Vehicle at Hwy 41/Walnut Evansville, IN between 23:21 03/19/2012 and 23:24 03/19/2012. Reported 03/20/2012.
"During a pursuit of an armed kidnapping suspect, the suspect shot himself in the head while southbound on Hwy 41 at Walnut St. After the suspect shot himself, the vehicle accelerated into the northbound lanes into oncoming traffic, reporting officer used his marked police cruiser to pit the vehicle causing it to cross back over the median into the southbound lanes. Officer then used his vehicle again to stop the vehicle from conintuing to roll. Damage to officer's car was minimal to the front left bumper and fender."

"Officers were called to 212 Taylor Ave about a large fight. When we arrived we noticed two subjects attempting to leave the area on a moped. One of the occupants of the moped was the suspect. She gave a false name and had two warrants for her arrest. While at the jail, a crack pipe was found in her underpants."

"I observed a male subject in the parking lot of Scores knocking on the windows of the business after the establishment had closed. When I made contact with the subject, I observed that he had two black eyes and a cut under his right eye. I asked the subject if he was okay and if he needed medical treatment. The subject said he was fine and was just trying to get home. I asked the subject where he lived and he advised me that he lived in Henderson. As I was talking to the subject, I observed the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. The subject had red, glassy eyes, very slurred speech and was very unsteady on his feet. I asked the subject how much he had to drink this evening and he replied, 'I had a fifth of Wild Irish Rose.' At that time the subject was place in custody and transported to VCCC on the charge."
D Patrick Downtown - Victim of Theft-from building at 500 Walnut St Evansville, IN between 03:45 03/20/2012 and 05:20 03/20/2012.
"An employee of D Patrick called to advise the he opened the shop around 0334hrs. He said about an hour later he noticed that one of the flat screen (televisions) that was mounted on the wall of the waiting area was missing. The tv in question was a 52 inch flat screen tv that was bolted to the wall with a wall mount. The bolts had been cut along with a small padlock to get the tv off the wall. The remote control was also missing. Along with opening the garage doors, the reporter opened the door to the waiting room which is about two feet from where the tv was located. He believes the suspect or suspects came in from the waiting room door and took the tv without him noticing. Crime Scene Officer C. Taylor was called to the scene to dust for fingerprints and he also took some photographs of the damage to the wall mount."
Wendy's N St Joe Ave - Victim of Criminal Mischief Loss >$250 <$2500 at 410 N Saint Joseph Ave Evansville, IN between 22:05 03/20/2012 and 22:18 03/20/2012.
"The general manager of Wendy's at 410 N St Joseph Ave called 911 to report disorderly conduct. He told dispatch three subjects had been on the lot and one of them broke the drive-thru window. He said it was two white males and a black male and they had left down the alley. They all had tank tops on. I drove through the area looking for the subjects and could not find anyone matching the description. I spoke with the general manager at Wendy's. He said the subjects were with ... who had quit earlier in the day. Her brother, the suspect, and ... were outside yelling, wanting the employees to come outside and fight. When the (manager) picked up the phone to call 911 the suspect punched the drive-thru window, breaking it. They then left down the alley. The suspect also had several tattoos on his face."
Gibson, Rose M. - Victim of Robbery-armed w/firearm at 1225 W Maryland St Evansville, IN between 22:20 03/20/2012 and 22:25 03/20/2012.
"Dispatched to 1225 W Maryland in reference a person with a gun. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim. Victim resides at this address. Victim was watching television and heard someone knocking on the side door. Victim turned on the outside light and opened the door. The offender put a gun in the victim's face and said, 'Give me all your damn money.' Offender was wearing blue jeans, white t-shirt and blue light jacket. The offender had a dark colored plaid bandanna over his face. Offender stepped into the victim's home. Victim began screaming and said, 'what!' Possibly thinking the victim did not hear him, the offender pulled down his bandanna and again demanded money. He repeatedly said, 'Give me all your money. I mean all of it.' There is an ADT alarm key pad next to the door. Victim reached over and began pushing buttons. Possibly believing the victim set off an alarm, the offender fled in an unknown direction. Victim shut the door and called police. Offender did not get any money. K-9 tracked but was unable to locate the offender. Dets. Sides and Dickenson responded. Victim described the gun as black. She said it looked similar to what police carry."
