From Evansville Police Department Incident Reports - March 23, 2012.

Society - Victim of Narc-possession of Marijuana, Hash Oil, Hashish <30G at 350 Dreier Blvd Evansville, IN on 03/23/2012, 13:00.
The Dean of Students at Reitz High School observed the offender throw two clear baggies containing a green leafy substance into the trash can of room 132. He retrieved the baggies. Both contained a green leafy substance in them which field tested positive for THC. Officer escorted .... and offender to the office. ... carried the offender's backpack. Once in the office, the offender opened her backpack and pulled out a blue-green and brown bong with burned residue on it. It was wrapped in a blue bandanna. Officer then searched th backpack and located two glass pipes w/ burned residue on them. Officer located a copper colored cannister which is used for grinding up the clumped marijuana. Inside the cannister is also a green leafy substance. Officer arrested and transported her to YCC.
Society - Victim of Discharge firearm within city at 1415 S Garvin St Evansville, IN between 16:51 03/23/2012 and 17:00 03/23/2012.
Officers were dispatched to 500 block of Jackson in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival officers located the male matching the description of what the caller gave dispatch. Officers learned that the resident of 1415 S Garvin St had fired one round from a handgun into the air. The offender was identified as ... and was cited for discharging a firearm in city limits. (Offender's) gun was taken and placed on a 72 hour hold.
Cash Tyme N. First Ave - Victim of Theft-other >200 <100,000 at 4245 N First Ave Evansville, IN between 15:04 03/15/2012 and 15:04 03/23/0212. Reported 03/23/2012.
Officers were dispatched to 4245 N First Ave for a theft report. On scene officers met with the manager who advised they discovered a former employee was involved in theft/deception from the business and customers. The reporter told officers the suspect opened false accounts of past customers as well as taking deposits from walk-in customers, but never entering the loan into the business computer system. The reporter advised the total stolen amount is approximately $5,000. The reporter advised he and the regional director would be doing a complete audit of the business accounts. The reported was given the case number and told to contact the detective office if any more fraudulent accounts were discovered.
Swifty Oil Green River Rd - Victim of Theft-shoplifting Theft-other <200 at 2101 N Green River Rd Evansville, IN between 18:00 03/23/2012 and 18:05 03/23/2012.
We were dispatched to 2101 N Green River Rd regarding a fight in progress. I arrived and the reporter stated that the subjects had left. The reporter stated that the suspect was acting strange and was yelling, "shut the station down!" The suspect then grabbed a pack of cigarettes out of the display and placed them in her vehicle and refused to pay for them. The suspect then tried to grab cash out of the reporter's hand as he was making change for another customer. The suspect then fled the scene. I contacted the detective office.
Stanley, Paul Cullen - Victim of Battery-injury at 22 Chandler Ave Evansville, IN between 17:52 03/23/2012 and 17:54 03/23/2012.
Dispatched to a fight in progress in front of 22 Chandler. Upon arrival I found two subjects on the sidewalk. I saw the victim had redness in his face and eyes and his eyes were watering. I also saw that the offender was bleeding from his arm and head. I spoke to the victim. He stated he was west on Washington Ave somewhere around Governor. He said the offender was driving a moped and cut him off on Washington. When they came to a stop at a light, the offender pulled up and started yelling at him. The victim said he asked the offender what his problem is and why he cut him off. The victim then drove off to his destination. The offender hurried up and went home and jumped in his pick up truck. He then drove extremely fast and ran several cars off the road. He found where the victim was located and jumped out of his truck with a can of pepper spray. He then pepper sprayed the victim in his face and eyes and got it all over his shirt. The offender then chased the victim down the street. The victim then turned and defended his self and that is when the offender attacked him. The victim fought back and was able to fight off the offender and stop him.
Jones, Danny Allen - Victim of Battery-simple assault at 999 Baker Ave/W Oregon St Evansville, IN between 19:30 03/23/2012 and 19:32 03/23/2012.
Victim was riding his scooter in the area of Baker/Oregon St. Victim said he stopped at the stop sign and was jumped by several black male juveniles that were standing in the street there. Victim said they punched him several times before he could get away. Victim left the scene and went to Burger King on Main St to make the report. Victim did not have any specific suspect information other than young black males. Officers checked the area, but did not locate anyone.
Society - Victim of OMVWI-prior or passenger <18 at 6822 Newburgh Rd Evansville IN between 00:21 03/24/2012 and 02:11 03/24/2012.
Suspect had a vehicle accident at the intersection of Washington and Newburgh Road. Airbags deployed. Suspect injured. Taken to Deaconess Hospital for treatment. Suspect's BAC was .32% BAC.
