From Evansville Police Department Incident Reports - March 26, 2012

Tyler, John Garland - Victim of Arson-single dwelling >5000 at 315 S Bedford Ave Evansville, IN between 23:56 03/26/2012 and 00:01 03/26/2012. Reported 03/26/2012.
Officers were dispatched to 315 S Bedford Ave to assist EFD with a working structure fire. While officers were on scene they were advised by EFD that the residence was vacant and there was no power to the dwelling. EFD informed officers that the fire was going to be an arson. Officers were also advised that 317 S Bedford had also received damage from the fire. Officers found out who owned 315 S Bedford through the Vandeburgh County Assessor and made contact with the owner. The owner of the dwelling is the victim in this case. They were given a case number for the report. Officers also found out who the owner of 317 S Bedford Ave was through the Vanderburgh County Assessor. Officers were unable to make contact with the owners of 317 S Bedford, but it was also vacant at the time of the fire. The case is still under investigation at this time.
Sex Related Victim - Victim of Sex-Indecent Exposure between 07:03 03/22/2012 and 08:30 03/22/2012. Reported 03/26/2012.
Victim called the Crime Prevention Office to report that on multiple occasions, offender has masturbated in his doorway, facing outside, in public view.
McNary, Latonia Marie - Arrest on charge of Theft-shoplifting Theft-other <200 at 800 N Green River Rd......JC Penney - Victim of Theft-shoplifting Theft-other <200 at 800 N Green River Rd Evansville, IN on 03/26/2012, 16:42.
Officers were dispatched to JC Penney's for an adult female shoplifter. The woman had stolen multiple bras and underwear. She also had an outstanding writ of attachment. The woman had previously been barred from JC Penney's for shoplifting on 03/27/2006.
Pickerill, Nancy J. - Victim of Criminal Mischief Loss >$250 <$2500 at 829 Jackson Ave Evansville, IN between 06:05 03/26/2012 and 06:11 03/26/2012.
Evansville Fire Department was called in reference to a structure fire in the alley behind 829 Jackson Ave. On scene, EFD personnel observed several bags of garbage and the fence behind 829 Jackson Ave engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished and EFD fire investigators called EPD to complete an arson report. A portion of the fence was completely destroyed, but no other damage to any other structures was noticed. Fire investigators told police that a lighter was recovered in the alley near the fire. Although there were no suspects at the time of this report, the resident of 829 Jackson claimed that a week prior to this incident someone had attempted to gain entry int her home through a rear screen door. The resident did not report this incident.
Howell Park Pool - Victim of Criminal Mischief to vending/coin machine at 801 S Barker Ave Evansville, IN between 13:13 03/12/2012 and 12:21 03/26/2012. Reported 03/26/2012.
The reporter stated he came to check on the pool and discovered the listed RC machines had been destroyed. No suspects.
Hines, Alyssa Morgan - Victim of Robbery-armed w/ firearm at 689 E Louisiana St/N. Morton Ave Evansville, IN between 15:49 03/26/2012 and 15:59 03/26/2012.
Both victims stated that they were in the area of Louisiana and Morton when a large black male approached them asking for information. As the two victims were trying to assist the offender, he told them to give him all their money or he would shoot them. He then grabbed at a hard object in his waistband, implying he had a weapon. Victim states that as she was trying to find her money, the offender reached in and smacked her in the face then ordered her to hurry it up. After taking the money, the offender ran away on foot then into another vehicle driven by a black female. The victims then drove off and called police. Dispatch advised they would have an officer waiting for them at the intersection of US Hwy 41 and Washington Ave. Later on, the two victims discovered the identity of the offender from a friend. Considering the amount of time that had passed between the time of the robbery and when they met me, I told them to got to station and speak with a detective. I advised that I would start on the initial report and call the detectives office to let them know they were on their way. Det. Spencer is conducting the investigation. Victim sustained minor scratches and redness to her face from the battery.
Wallace, Kody Gerald - Victim of Robbery-strong armed at 1102 Fulton Pkwy Evansville, IN on 03/26/2012, 19:12.
Officers were dispatched to 1102 Fulton Pkwy in reference to a battery report. On scene officer met with the victim who said he was near the basketball court in the area when a green Dodge Stratus with several occupants approached him and asked to use his phone. The victim told officers he let them borrow the phone but when they refused to return it he became suspicious. The victim said he reached inside the vehicle to retrieve the phone when one of the occupants grabbed his arm and held it as the driver started moving. The victim told officer as he was being drug by the vehicle, multiple subjects began hitting him in the face with their fists. The victim told officer he was hanging by the vehicle from approximately the basketball courts to the east end of the lake. Officers were approached by a witness on scene who described the suspect vehicle as an older green Dodge Stratus. Another witness approached officers with the license plate of the vehicle. The victim had multiple contusions on his face and head and a laceration above his right eye.
Roedel, Brian Wayne - Arrest on charge of Battery-serious injury/hand feet fist at 2909 Bayard Park Dr......Bell, Ann Molyneaux - Victim of Battery-serious injury/hand feet fist at 2909 Bayard Park Dr Evansville, IN between 01:00 03/27/2012 and 01:21 03/27/2012.
Officers were dispatched to 2909 Bayard Park Dr in reference to a 911 hang-up. While officers were walking up to the house, a males voice could be heard screaming inside the home. Officers could also hear children crying. The offender answered the front door and said his girlfriend was passed out on the floor. Two young children ran to the officers frantically telling them the (offender) had hit their mother on the head and said she wouldn't wake up. The victim was lying in the front room between a coffee table and love seat unconscious. AMR was called to the scene. When the victim regained consciousness she said her and (offender) had been in an argument. She said (offender) had hit her and bit her on the right hand. The victim did have an abrasion on her right hand. The victim and her two children were transported to St Mary's E-R. (Offender) was transported to the Vanderburgh County Correctional Center and booked on domestic violence and battery charges.
