Cornerstone Assembly of God - Victim of Theft-other at 3900 Kratzville Rd Evansville, IN between 15:00 03/30/2012 and 09:00 04/28/2012. Reported 04/30/2012.
Reporter called stating that on March 30th, they discovered that a mat was missing from the front door of the church. At that time there was nor report made and reporter states that the mat was replaced at a cost of $120.00. Reporter states that Friday night, unknown offenders stole 3 mats and 2 pots with plants in them. No suspect(s) at this time.
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran - Victim of Criminal Mischief at 3600 Oak Hill Rd Evansville, IN on 04/29/2012, 17:30. Reported 04/30/2012.
The congregational president for Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church called and stated that between 1730-1830 hours on 04/29/2012, someone had turned over large playground equipment on the church property. Two large playground sets and one large slide were pushed over. No suspects, no witnesses at this time. (Reporter) stated she was sure of the time frame due to groups of children leaving and arriving at the church for functions around those time frames.
Weathers, Adonis Vashon - Arrest on charge of Theft-receive <$100,000 at 1600 N Fulton Ave......Leonard, .... - Victim of Theft-receive <$100,000 at 1600 N Fulton Ave Evansville, IN on 04/30/2012, 10:30.
Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of North Fulton to assist AMR with a subject who was combative and running into traffic. Upon arrival, they identified (suspect) as man who had previously jumped from his bicycle on Fulton at Dresden and ran into traffic. A motorist stopped to give him aid and call the ambulance. (Suspect) had been screaming that he had a vision that he was going to die. Upon officers arrival, (suspect) would not be treated by the ambulance saying it was a conspiracy. He would not specity what the conspiracy was but he was still afraid he was going to die. (Suspect) admitted that he had been smoking K-12 earlier in the day and he admitted that he had K-12 in his shoe. Officers recovered the packet which was a 1 gram package bearing the brand name of Darkness. (He) had slurred speech, red blood shot eyes, was agitated and very paranoid. (His) body was profusely sweating and he was shaking. (He) indicated the bicycle across Fulton as the one he came to the area on. (Suspect) said the bike was not his but that he was using it and got it from a guy who lived around Riverside. (Suspect) could not name the "guy" nor could he identify where specifically he got the bike. Officer Clegg checked the bicycle, a red Majolla Street Cruiser, through records and determined that the bicycle was in fact stolen.
Society - Victim of Animal Cruel-Abandon/Neglect at 2173 Enlow Ave Evansville, IN between 15:00 04/28/2012 and 08:14 04/30/2012.
I was dispatched to stand-by with Animal control at 2173 Enlow Ave while he collected 3 dogs form this address. Upon arrival, I spoke with Ken Kamp of Animal Control who stated that he had been by the residence on Saturday to speak with the owners and they were not here. Kamp then left a note on the front door for the owners to contact him and as of this morning they had not. Kamp stated that he had opened the unlocked front door of the residence after no response to his knocking to check on the animals. He found the conditions to to be so deteriorated that he felt the animals needed to be collected for their well being. I spoke with a neighbor who stated the owners had left the residence on 04-22-12 telling her that they were moving and have not been seen since. ... states that on 04-26-12, her father heard the animals barking continuously and went over to check on them. He was unable to locate the owners as well and began to feed and water the animals. He continued to do this until our arrival today. (Neighbor) is unable to provide the name of the owners of the residence. I found mail in the mailbox addressed to a ... The animals were collected by Kamp and taken back to the shelter. There was a pungent odor of animal feces emitting from the inside at the exterior of the front door to the residence. Kamp stated that the inside appeared to be full of animal feces as well. I did not enter the residence and Kamp collected the animals by merely opening the front door and they exited into his custody. Sgt. Goodwin was made aware of the situation and requested an incident report be completed.
