Johnson, Antonio Ka Darion - Arrest on charge of Weapon-handgun w/o a license at 830 LST Drive......Society - Victim of Weapon-handgun w/o a license at 830 LST Drive Evansville, IN between 03:02 05/06/2012 and 03:06 05/06/2012.
Officers were working off duty at Marina Pointe and were attempting to clear the parking lot when a fight broke out. The suspect was involved in the fight and found to be intoxicated. The suspect got into the front seat of a 2002 blue Chrysler Sebring. Security staff was assisting and saw the suspect, Antonia K Johnson, waving a gun around from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The security personnel informed officers quickly and the suspect was taken into custody. The firearm was recovered for evidence and the suspect was found to not have a gun permit. The suspect was arrested and transported to the VCCC. The suspect was booked in on the listed charges.

During traffic stop, driver was cited for DWLS and vehicle was towed. During a vehicle inventory prior to tow, officer located an active "one pot" meth lab in trunk. Driver was arrest for Manufacturing Methamphetamine. Passenger (suspect) had marijuana on her person and was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
Bray, Clifton L. - Victim of Battery-simple assault at 701 NW Riverside Dr Evansville, IN between 01:55 05/06/2012 and 02:00 05/06/2012.
The victim stated that he was waiting for a beer he ordered and became irritated when it was taking twenty minutes just to get one. He questioned the length of time to get the beer and then said that he was out and going to go to another bar. He said that an employee advised one of the bouncers to get him out. The victim said he was grabbed around the neck and dragged out of the bar. He exchanged words with employees. While outside he said the offender ran across the street/drive and him him in the face knocking him into an outside fountain. The victim refused an ambulance. The offender said that he had been advised that the victim threatened to kill an employee inside the bar. He said the victim was ejected and escorted out. Paul said the he did not see any EPD officers anywhere although there were two vehicles and at least three officers on scene at the time of the incident. ... also said the victim threatened him and called him a "faggot!" The alleged threat made was that the victim was going to "get" him. ... said that he crossed the street and he and the victim got into a physical altercation and the victim fell into the fountain. ... did not admit to hitting the victim. There are no witnesses at this time.

Officers stopped suspect vehicle for failure to signal. During the traffic stop, driver was cited for DWLS and failure to signal turn. During an inventory of the vehicle prior to tow, officers located items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine. A supervisor and JTF unit was notified.
Grand Buffet - Victim of Burglary-non residential at 1356 N Green River Rd Evansville, IN between 03:10 05/06/2012 and 04:43 05/06/2012.
Officers were dispatched to 1356 N Green River Rd for a burglary report. Officer arrived and spoke with the reporter. He said they left the business at 2300 hours on 050512. At 0424 hours on 050512 he received an alarm call for the business. He receives the call before police. He drove to the business and noticed the ceiling was broke, there were foot prints in the kitchen and the office door was kicked open. He said he had about $5000 cash in a metal filing cabinet that was gone. I went into the business to make sure no one else was in there. I also took a ladder and looked up in the ceiling. The duct work had a big piece that was missing and the reporter said it wasn't like that before. They do have video and it showed 2 subjects walking in the kitchen area but didn't pick them up in the office area. The reporter said the back door to the business is usually locked but the metal latch was in the open position. Crime scene was called to take photos and look at the video.
Renschler, Nathaniel R. - Victim of Burglary-non residential at 4219 N First Ave Evansville, IN between 20:24 05/06/2012 and 20:27 05/06/2012.
Officers were dispatched to 4219 N First Ave (Goats Smoke Shop) reference the buildings alarm was set off. On scene, K9 officer observed the back door had been pried open. The building was cleared and no one was found inside. The K9 tracked for a short distance behind the building to the north, but lost the track. Officers reviewed the surveillance footage that showed a white male wearing a white shirt and sunglasses (suspect) walking around behind the building. The suspect was holding what appeared to be a tire iron in his hands that was partially wrapped with a white shirt or towel. The suspect is seen coming out of the door that leads to the property of 4125 N First Ave and walking to the rear door of 4219. He then begins to pry the rear door open and makes entry into the building. Inside he takes one pack of cigarettes from the rack and a plastic basket from under the counter and runs back out the door. On scene officers located a hole in the wall of 4215 that leads into 4219. There was wire mesh in between the walls and access could not be made to 4219. Crime scene unit was called to process the scene and the victim was given the case number for this report.
