PRINCETON, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that State Road 65 (Main Street) will be closing in Princeton.
Beginning Thursday, September 13 at 4:00 p.m. local time, S.R. 65 will be closed from the junction of State Road 64 (Broadway) to the junction of S.R. 56. The roadway is being closed for the Annual Golden Heritage Festival in Princeton. The roadway will be re-opened to traffic on Monday, September 17 at 8:00 a.m. local time.
No through vehicle traffic will be allowed, however local residents will have access to the point of closure. All lanes of traffic will be closed between Broadway and State Streets. The official detour will follow S.R. 64, U.S. Route 41 and S.R. 56.
